**Virtual Event / Podcast Producer - Remote**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- To produce and sustain effective podcasts, and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including regular check-ins with the communications, engagement, and editing teams to analyze performance.
- Develop new and unique ways to engage the audience, establish fan communities across platforms, and increase podcast channel awareness.
- Ascertain that all podcast advertisements are operating smoothly and efficiently.
- Improve the performance of the podcast channel by monitoring, evaluating, and making recommendations
- Prepare questions prior to an interview
- Conducting research and communicating with potential speakers regarding topics (particularly by monitoring member/community needs to ensure programming is relevant and supportive).
- When hosting a virtual event or webinar, the attendee experience needs to be top of mind
- Manage the podcast production schedule and development
- Manage the podcast production budget
- Develop virtual event feedback surveys and post-event reports
- Prep the host and guest before a podcast recording
- Ensure that all podcast ads are running smoothly and effectively.
- Record and produce all podcast episodes
- Encourage the creation and distribution of live podcasts.
- Assist with the marketing of podcast broadcasts.

**Requirements**:

- Full-time Bachelor’s degree
- 4-5 years experience in a virtual event (webinar, podcast) producer and promoter
- Previous marketing experience with podcasts.
- Self-directed and self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Solid understanding of the podcast industry.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time and utilize general office and computer equipment continually with regular and consistent use of keyboard and mouse
- The capacity to work collaboratively with a variety of parties.
- Experience with audio and video equipment and can help put together high-quality live or prerecorded presentations.
- Exhibits a manner that is professional, ethical, respectful, and graceful
- Working in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
- Perform sound and visual checks before you go live and work with the team to ensure smooth, seamless, professional-looking sessions.
- Strong ties to other podcast networks are an advantage.
- Communicates effectively in both verbal and written form, and in presenting complex information.
