**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Recipe Development and Production**:
- Develop and refine recipes for bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods, taking into account flavor profiles, textures, and presentation.
- Oversee the production of baked goods, ensuring that recipes are followed accurately and consistently.
- Monitor baking processes and adjust techniques and ingredients as needed to achieve desired results.
- **Team Leadership and Training**:
- Lead and motivate a team of bakers, pastry chefs, and kitchen staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging creativity, teamwork, and excellence in craftsmanship.
- Conduct regular training sessions to develop the skills and knowledge of bakery staff and promote continuous improvement.
- **Quality Control and Assurance**:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all baked goods meet our standards for freshness, flavor, and appearance.
- Conduct regular inspections of bakery products, equipment, and facilities to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Address any issues or concerns related to product quality, consistency, or safety in a timely and effective manner.
- **Inventory Management and Procurement**:
- Manage inventory levels of baking ingredients, supplies, and equipment, and place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Source high-quality ingredients and materials from reputable suppliers, negotiating prices and contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- **Menu Planning and Innovation**:
- Collaborate with management and culinary team to develop seasonal menus and special promotions featuring bakery products.
- Stay updated on baking trends, techniques, and ingredients, and incorporate innovative ideas into our bakery offerings to delight customers.
**Qualifications**:
- Degree or diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bakery Chef, Head Baker, or similar role in a bakery or pastry shop.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry production, and bakery operations.
- Creative flair and passion for creating delicious and visually appealing baked goods.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹31,761.86 per month
