At **We do effects**, we are a **UK-based creative marketing agency** that helps brands grow through impactful strategies, storytelling, and design. We are looking for a **Social Media Strategist** who can bring fresh ideas, plan data-driven campaigns, and build strong online identities for our clients across multiple industries.

**Role Overview**

The **Social Media Strategist** will be responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring social media strategies that align with client goals and drive measurable results. You will lead creative campaigns, engage communities, and ensure every piece of content tells a compelling brand story.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement innovative social media strategies tailored to each client’s brand identity and business objectives.
- Plan, create, and schedule content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
- Collaborate with the creative team (designers, video editors, copywriters, and videographers) to produce high-quality and engaging content.
- Manage social media calendars and campaign timelines.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and other reporting platforms.
- Stay updated on social media trends, algorithms, and competitor activity to bring new opportunities to clients.
- Run paid campaigns (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Ads when required) to maximize reach and ROI.
- Engage with online communities, manage comments/messages, and build brand loyalty.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve strategy and performance.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Proven experience minimum 1 year as a Social Media Strategist, Digital Marketing Specialist, or similar role in an agency or brand setting.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and analytically.
- Experience in paid media campaigns (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with tools such as Canva, Social Bee, Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar.
- Strong project management and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven agency environment.
