
Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Coordinator will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Project Planning and Coordination**:
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- **Team Collaboration**:
- Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
- **Communication**:
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
- Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
- **Resource Management**:
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- **Risk Management**:
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Ensure that all risks are identified and mitigated in the planning stages.
**Requirements**:
- **Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role.
- Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
- **Technical Skills**:
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
- Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, etc.).
