**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Guest Service**:

- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure guests are seated comfortably and promptly.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen.
- Monitor the dining area to ensure guests' needs are met, and provide any assistance when necessary.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally, ensuring all concerns are resolved in a timely manner.
- Ensure a high standard of service throughout the guests’ dining experience.
- **Team Management**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the waitstaff to ensure quality service.
- Train and motivate new team members, ensuring adherence to service standards.
- Allocate and monitor tasks to service staff during their shifts.
- Maintain team discipline and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Assist with staff scheduling as required.
- **Operations & Quality Control**:

- Monitor the flow of service to ensure that all guests receive their orders promptly.
- Ensure the restaurant is set up properly for service, including table settings and cleanliness.
- Oversee the daily operations, ensuring smooth execution of service.
- Conduct quality checks on food and beverage items before they are served to guests.
- Ensure restaurant cleanliness and compliance with hygiene standards at all times.
- **Cash Handling & Billing**:

- Ensure accuracy in guest billing, process payments, and provide receipts as needed.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods responsibly.
- Maintain cash registers and balance receipts during shifts.
- **Communication**:

- Liaise between the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
- Ensure smooth communication between team members and management.
- Provide feedback to the management team regarding service quality and customer satisfaction.
- **Compliance & Safety**:

- Follow and enforce all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Ensure all staff are following workplace safety protocols.
- Comply with alcohol serving regulations, including checking IDs when necessary.
