**Key Responsibilities**:1. Guest Service Management**:
- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
- Guide guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Handle guest queries, complaints, and requests with tact and efficiency.
- Recommend food and beverages based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Ensure that the service is timely, attentive, and of the highest quality.
**2. Staff Supervision and Coordination**:
- Lead and oversee front-of-house staff, including waiters, bussers, and hostesses, to ensure effective teamwork and service.
- Assign duties and tasks to staff based on operational requirements.
- Monitor the performance of staff and provide on-the-spot guidance and coaching.
- Conduct pre-service briefings, ensuring the team is informed about specials, events, and guest preferences.
- Assist in training and onboarding new employees.
**3. Service Operations Management**:
- Monitor service flow, ensuring that orders are processed quickly and accurately.
- Ensure that guests are served their meals in a timely manner.
- Oversee table settings and ensure proper decorum is maintained throughout the shift.
- Handle high-pressure situations, ensuring guest satisfaction even during peak times.
**4. Quality Control**:
- Inspect the quality of food, beverage presentation, and cleanliness of dining areas.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, including cleanliness and sanitation.
- Ensure food is served according to restaurant standards, monitoring portion control, temperature, and presentation.
**5. Order Management & Coordination**:
- Take and manage guest orders, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Communicate directly with kitchen staff to relay special requests, allergies, or any changes to the orders.
- Coordinate with the bar and kitchen to ensure that food and beverages are served promptly.
**6. Financial and Inventory Management**:
- Handle cash and process payments through POS systems.
- Ensure correct billing and manage guest checks.
- Assist in managing inventory, ensuring that stock is sufficient for daily operations.
- Report any issues regarding stock or inventory to the restaurant manager.
**7. Shift Management & Reporting**:
- Ensure that daily operations run smoothly, including opening and closing procedures.
- Complete end-of-shift reports, documenting any issues, sales data, and guest feedback.
- Report to the restaurant manager about staffing, guest concerns, and service issues.
**8. Event & Reservation Management**:
- Manage restaurant reservations and accommodate special requests or VIP guests.
- Assist in planning and executing special events or banquets.
- Ensure that special arrangements, such as birthday celebrations, are handled professionally.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
