**Job Overview**:As a Quality Assurance Specialist for the Gensys Configurator System, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality, reliability, and performance of the system. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve the quality of the software. Your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and dedication to delivering a seamless user experience will be essential for the success of the Gensys Configurator System.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Test Planning and Design**:Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and user stories.
Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategies that cover functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.

**Test Execution**:Execute manual and automated tests to validate the functionality of the Gensys Configurator System.
Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues that automated tests might miss.
Document and report defects using appropriate bug tracking tools, and work closely with development teams to address and resolve issues.

**Automation**:Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using relevant testing frameworks and tools.
Identify opportunities for test automation and work to expand test coverage through automation.

**Performance Testing**:Conduct performance and scalability testing to ensure the system meets performance requirements and can handle various levels of load.

**Regression Testing**:Regularly execute regression tests to ensure that new feature additions and code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.

**Collaboration**:Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure a collaborative and streamlined testing process.
Participate in design and code reviews to provide input on testability and quality aspects.

**Continuous Improvement**:Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in quality assurance and testing.
Propose and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in software quality assurance, including test planning, test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of software development life cycles and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with performance testing tools and techniques is a plus.
- Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are desirable but not mandatory.

**Salary**: ₹226,633.03 - ₹1,175,074.73 per year
