**Quantity Surveyor Job Description**:
**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Cost Estimation**:

- Conducting thorough cost estimates for construction projects.
- Analyzing project plans and specifications to determine the overall cost.
- Identifying and quantifying potential cost risks and proposing suitable mitigation measures.
- **Budget Management**:

- Collaborating with project managers to develop and manage project budgets.
- Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction phase.
- Providing regular cost reports and updates to project stakeholders.
- **Contract Management**:

- Reviewing and analyzing construction contracts to ensure alignment with cost estimates.
- Evaluating change orders and assessing their impact on project costs.
- Negotiating and settling final accounts with contractors.
- **Quantity Takeoff**:

- Conducting accurate quantity takeoffs from project drawings and specifications.
- Collaborating with engineering and design teams to ensure accurate quantity calculations.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintaining detailed and organized project documentation related to cost estimation and management.
- Keeping accurate records of all cost-related communications and decisions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.
- Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- total work: 2 years (preferred)

- Calicut, Kerala (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Calicut, Kerala: Relocate before starting work (required)
