**Responsibilities**:

- **Social Safeguard Policy Implementation**:

- **Ensure compliance with international frameworks such as IFC Performance Standards, Asian Development Bank Safeguard Guidelines, and World Bank Environmental and Social Framework (ESF).**:

- **Develop and implement risk assessment and mitigation strategies for large-scale infrastructure and development projects.**:

- **Integrate safeguard policies into project planning to minimize adverse social impacts.**:

- **Social Impact Assessment & Reporting**:

- **Lead the preparation of Social Impact Assessments (SIAs), Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs), Livelihood Restoration Plans (LRPs), and other compliance reports.**:

- **Develop frameworks for measuring social impacts and ensure proper documentation of stakeholder engagements.**:

- **Advise clients on best practices to address social challenges during project execution.**:

- **Regulatory & Stakeholder Management**:

- **Ensure adherence to The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation, and Resettlement Act, 2013, ILO Indigenous and Tribal Peoples Convention (C169), and UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.**:

- **Engage with local communities, government authorities, NGOs, and civil society to build consensus on project plans.**:

- **Monitor compliance with gender and inclusion policies in line with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).**:

- **Team & Project Management**:

- **Lead multidisciplinary teams to execute projects within defined timelines and budgets.**:

- **Develop workflows to ensure adherence to ESG and social safeguard benchmarks.**:

- **Mentor junior staff to enhance their understanding of social safeguard policies and frameworks.**:

- **Negotiation & Capacity Building**:

- **Lead negotiations with stakeholders regarding land acquisition, compensation, and resettlement plans.**:

- **Conduct capacity-building workshops on ESG standards, safeguard planning, and sustainability practices for clients and internal teams.**:

- **Ensure stakeholder alignment with OECD Due Diligence Guidance for social safeguards in responsible business practices.**

**Qualifications & Skills**:
**Education**:

- **Master’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, or related fields.**:

- **Certification in Social Impact Assessment, Safeguard Planning, or ESG reporting is preferred.**

**Technical Knowledge**:

- **Strong understanding of social safeguard frameworks, including IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles, ADB Safeguards, and World Bank Environmental and Social Standards (ESS).**:

- **Familiarity with international labor laws, indigenous peoples' rights, and gender equality frameworks.**:

- **Knowledge of grievance redress mechanisms and stakeholder engagement processes.**

**Core Skills**:

- **Expertise in drafting Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs), Stakeholder Engagement Plans (SEPs), and Social Due Diligence Reports.**:

- **Strong analytical, decision-making, and negotiation skills.**:

- **Proficient in presenting complex social issues to diverse audiences, including corporate and community stakeholders.**

- **Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced consultancy environments.**:

- **Strong cultural sensitivity, ethical decision-making, and adaptability.**:

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
