**In This Role You Will**

**Payroll Administration**:

- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, including salary disbursement, TDS calculations, GST compliance, and management of PF and ESI contributions.
- Manage timesheet data to ensure precise and timely payroll processing.

**Accounting and Compliance**:

- Handle monthly accounts, including preparation of financial statements and management of accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Safeguard sensitive employee information, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.

**Budgeting & Forecasting**
- Assist in budgeting, cost monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Track departmental expenses and support periodic financial forecasting.

**Compliance & Reporting**
- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (TDS, GST, PT, PF, ESI, Income Tax).
- Prepare and maintain accurate records for internal audits and external regulatory compliance.
- Support the filing of returns and financial documentation.

Process Improvement
- Identify gaps in financial processes and help implement controls for accuracy and efficiency.
- Support automation efforts by leveraging tools like Excel, Zoho Books, and Tally.

Liaison & Communication
- Coordinate with HR, vendors, consultants, and statutory bodies for financial documentation and reconciliations.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure transparent financial practices.

**Preferred Work Experience**
- 1-2 years of proven experience in Finance roles, ideally in a private limited company.
- Hands-on experience with GST compliance, Provident Fund, Employee State Insurance, accounting practices, and financial reporting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of labour laws, employment regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.

**Education Background**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- MBA in Finance, CMA Inter, or semi-qualified CA is desirable.
- Training in Zoho Books, Tally, or financial analysis tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of IT project costing and revenue recognition principles.

**Key Skill Set**
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including financial statement preparation and budgeting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally Prime, SAP, etc.).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modelling).
- Familiarity with financial reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
