Our culinary campus includes:

- An in-house coffee roasting facility powered by India’s first Loring S70 Peregrine air-roaster.
- A state-of-the-art bakery and pastry kitchen, equipped with best-in-class ovens, blast freezers, dough sheeters, and chocolate tempering lines.
- A gelato and chocolate production atelier
- Banquet facilities, a private screening theater, chef’s table, and a full-fledged events kitchen

We are also building robust verticals in B2B supply, frozen SKUs, and retail-ready products, alongside executing large-scale catered events. **Role Overview**

We’re hiring a Corporate Pastry Chef to oversee and elevate the pastry, bakery, and dessert programs across all ROAST properties and verticals. This is a high-impact role for a visionary chef with experience in scaling bakery & pastry operations, product development for cold chain/frozen formats, and executing high-volume catering without compromising on finesse or brand DNA.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Strategic & Creative Leadership**
- Define and execute the overall bakery & pastry vision and product philosophy for all ROAST outlets
- Design innovative menus and collections for in-store, catering, and retail verticals
- Create signature SKUs adaptable to dine-in, takeaway, frozen, and retail packaging

**Multi-Unit Operational Oversight**
- Standardize production processes across existing & upcoming outlets.
- Establish SOPs and QC systems for consistency and excellence at scale.
- Manage centralized production for high-volume units and optimize for delivery/cold chain.

**R&D and Frozen Product Development**
- Develop and test bakery & pastry products for cold chain logistics and long shelf life.
- Work closely with packaging, logistics, and QA teams to launch retail-ready frozen SKUs

**Training & Team Building**
- Recruit, train, and mentor bakery & pastry chefs across units and central kitchen.
- Conduct regular tastings, kitchen audits, and upskilling workshops.

**Large-Scale Catering & Events**
- Lead the bakery & pastry function for banquets and offsite events serving up to 3,000+ guests.
- Ensure efficiency in large-batch production, plating, and transportation logistics

**Collaboration & Reporting**
- Collaborate with culinary, coffee, retail, marketing, and supply chain teams.
- Report directly to theFounder on KPIs, innovation, and performance.
- Minimum 10 years in bakery & pastry, with at least 4-5 years in a multi-unit or corporate-level leadership role.
- Prior experience with luxury hotels, premium bakery chains, or fast-scaling F&B brands preferred.
- Expertise in viennoiserie, sourdoughs, laminated doughs, entremets, chocolate work, and frozen/delivery-ready formats.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams across multiple locations and central production.
- Strong understanding of cost control, menu engineering, and kitchen efficiencies.
- Degree or diploma from a reputed culinary institute.
- Willing to relocate to Hyderabad, India
