**Job Title: Placement cum Industry Relationships Officer**

**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals, companies, and organizations to promote collaboration and facilitate placement opportunities for our students.

2. Act as a liaison between the academic institution and industry partners, ensuring effective communication and alignment of objectives.

3. Proactively identify potential employment opportunities, internships, and projects for students, coordinating with relevant departments and faculties.

4. Organize and conduct career development workshops, seminars, and guest lectures to enhance students' employability skills and industry awareness.

5. Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide guidance and support to students regarding career planning, resume building, interview skills, and job search strategies.

6. Stay updated on industry trends, job market demands, and emerging career pathways to provide relevant and up-to-date information to students.

7. Collect and analyze feedback from industry partners and employers to identify areas for improvement in the curriculum and training programs.

8. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the institution's placement services and highlight successful student placements and industry collaborations.

9. Maintain accurate records of student placements, internships, and industry partnerships for reporting purposes.

10. Keep track of employment market trends, salary ranges, and job requirements to provide insights and guidance to students and faculty.

11. Attend industry events, career fairs, and networking conferences to build connections and stay updated on industry developments.

12. Utilize Linked In and other professional networking platforms to expand the institution's industry network and engage with potential employers.

13. Leverage your expertise in design hiring, specifically in areas such as Graphic Design, Web Design, UI/UX Design, to provide specialized guidance and support to students interested in these fields.

14. Collaborate with design faculties and industry professionals to develop design-focused programs, workshops, and internship opportunities.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, HR, Education, or related disciplines). A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in placements, career services, or industry relations within an academic or corporate environment.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present information and ideas.
- Knowledge of industry trends, labor market dynamics, and career development practices.
- Familiarity with various industries and job roles to provide accurate guidance to students.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using technology, including MS Office and database management systems.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to industry events, career fairs, and networking conferences as required.
- Proficient in Linked In networking and utilizing professional networking platforms to establish connections and build relationships.
- Previous experience in design hiring, particularly in areas such as Graphic Design, Web Design, UI/UX Design, is highly desirable.
