**Area Sales Manager (ASM) Location**: xxxxx Salary Range: INR xxk -xxk Per month+Incentives (As per the company policy) Experience: 4-7 Yrs Educational Qualification: Graduate/MBA from Tier-3, Tier-4 BSchools Job Description: An experienced sales talent with prior experience in channel sales in the IT software/hardware industry and who is ready to manage a team of 3-4 Key Account Managers (KAM) assigned to their territory Assign & align daily & Monthly sales tasks for the team Effective team management includes regular sales review of team members, enabling team members to develop new partners, periodic feedback gathering & insights sharing, and functional training. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts. Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship. Excellent channel partner management is another key aspect of the role that includes regular visits to all partners and devising innovative means to maintain healthy relationships.

Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis. Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources. Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement. Leads solution development efforts that best address end-user needs while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.

Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements. Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners. Role Requirements: Previous experience driving channel sales ideally within the same product category and channel. Should have worked in SME Software space eg: ERP (Tally, Busy, Marg, Zoho), HRMS, CRM.

Should have managed a team of at least 3-5 sales executives for at least 2-3 Yrs Should possess a track record of at least 75% of QoQ -Quarter on Quarter target achievements Should possess and understand Channel Partner distribution S h o uld h a v e e x c elle n t c o m m u nic a tio n s kills, p e o ple m a n a g e m e n t & s ale s f u n n elin g s kills
