A cook is a professional who is responsible for preparing and cooking food items. They are responsible for setting up the kitchen with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment. In this position, he or she will be responsible for

**Job Title**: Cook

**Location**: Bagui, CAR (Central African Republic)

**Salary**: USD 350 - USD 400 / month

**Responsibilities**:

- Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Preparing ingredients to use in cooking
- Cooking Indian food
- Keeping a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensuring all food and other items are stored properly
- Checking quality of ingredients
- Washing utensils, keep them sterile and ready for use
- Monitoring stock and place orders when there are shortages

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:

- **Passport** is mandatory
- Prior experience as cook
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods
- Habitual to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team
- Very good communication skills
- Excellent physical condition and stamina
