**Role Summary/Purpose**:
Leverage Business Intelligence tools and managed data repositories to create reporting and related dashboards that support Synchrony’s Source To Pay program, and provide insights aimed at helping key stakeholders identify areas for improvement and track impacts to actions taken across the business. Work with

Stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications to allow for complete MIS build and maintenance.

This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. **Essential Responsibilities**:

- As a Reporting & Data Analyst Lead execute the development of MIS and reporting activities in support of Synchrony Source To Pay process/needs ensuring performance of the following:

- Use BI tools such as SAS, Tableau, and embedded SaaS tools such as Looker, Birst, etc., develop analytics to track trends, emerging insights, and identify exception-based metrics to aid stakeholders in making critical business decisions and take action toward process improvement.
- Facilitate requirements gathering and UAT activities with stakeholders for Reporting and Analytics build activities, driving escalation when necessary to assure timely completion of solutions,
- Perform data diagnostics to maintain data accuracy and integrity for all SMP databases, systems of record, shared sites, web pages and reports,
- Reconcile program baselines and thresholds to ensure that dashboards, scorecards, and other related analytics are performed at the prescribed intervals and accurately reflect the state of the program.
- Complete adhoc assignments and participate in delivery of training,
- Create data mining/capture and reporting processes in support of key performance metrics for roles within Syncrhony’s governance model and ongoing progress reporting to facilitate cultural change.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum of 5+ years progressive experience within the IT, Finance, or Operations function or in lieu of a degree, 7+ years progressive experience within the IT, Finance, or Operations function
- with ability to demonstrate strong execution, leadership, and significant business support and improvement contributions,
- Minimum 3+ years of demonstrated experience with Business Intelligence and Reporting tools such as Tableau, SAS, Birst, Looker, Hyperion, and Excel and development and administration experience with collaboration type tools (example: CoLab, SharePoint, Support Central, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to provide wing-to-wing analytic support including workflow build, data form/base build, mining data, mapping data, reporting and presenting data analysis, interpreting data, making fact-based recommendations, and building reports.
- Ability to clearly explain technical and analytical information (verbally, written & in presentation form) in lay terms and summarize for senior stakeholders.
