Full-time deployment as Urban Transport Planner as part of state-level PMU for Direcorate of Urban Transport, Uttar Pradesh.

Responsibilities will include:

- Understanding of City Bus service system/BRTS etc.;
- Review of Existing Transport network of Public Transport, IPT and MRTS
- Review of existing Infrastructure of City Bus services in various cities of Uttar Pradesh
- Review of City bus routes and its related information on GIS platform
- Preparation of new routes for bus operation in various cities of Uttar Pradesh
- Support in analysis of existing and future Charging infrastructure
- Support in “Gap assessment” of existing system
- Support in identification and conceptualization of infrastructure projects;
- Support in Non Fare revenue studies and its related works
- Undertake pre-feasibility studies including financial analysis to assess the viability of the identified projects;
- Assist the Authority in project structuring, whether the project would be viable/value additive if done on PPP and
- Developing proposals for accessing funds from various sources including central and state governments;

Location: Lucknow/ Meerut/ Kanpur/ Agra

Engagement type: 1 year retainership contract (renewable)

Qualification requirements:

- Masters in Transport Planning/ Transportation Engineering/ Infrastructure Planning.
- Professional Experience: Min. 3 years in feasibility studies/DPR related to urban infrastructure/ urban transport projects, planning of bus depot/ city bus terminal/public charging stations and other bus infrastructure, route planning related works;
