**Job Overview**:
Urban planners develop plans and programs to manage land use, infrastructure, and community development in cities, towns, and regions. They work with government agencies, private developers, and communities to create sustainable, functional, and attractive urban environments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Land Use Planning**: Develop and implement zoning regulations and land-use policies.
- **Community Development**: Engage with local communities to address housing, transportation, and public space needs.
- **Sustainability & Environmental Planning**: Ensure urban growth aligns with environmental sustainability and climate resilience.
- **Infrastructure Planning**: Work on transportation, utilities, and public services planning.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- **Data Analysis & Research**: Study demographic trends, economic factors, and geographic data to inform urban development.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration**: Work with government officials, developers, architects, and community groups.
- **Policy Development**: Recommend policies that support economic growth, housing affordability, and social equity.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of zoning laws, environmental regulations, and urban design principles
- GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and data visualization skills
- Excellent communication and public engagement abilities
- Project management and budgeting experience

**Education & Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Urban Planning, City Planning, Geography, or a related field

**Work Environment**:

- Primarily office-based with field visits to development sites
- May work for government agencies, private consulting firms, or non-profits
- Collaboration with engineers, architects, and policymakers

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
