**About Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall**:
**The Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall**, founded in 2008, a premium venue in India, is a fully furnished, 2600 sq.ft Concert Hall in the heart of the city. With close to 1200 member seating capacity, it also features a 200 person capacity black box experimental theatre with an outdoor performance area and 3 versatile training rooms. Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall is one of the first halls in the city, with integrated, exceptional audio-visual and lighting equipment manned by trained technicians. This makes the Concert Hall a versatile venue for performances of every scale.
**Who are we looking for**:
**Key Responsilbilites**:
- Handling incoming client calls.
- Walk through with prospective clients in the hall, explaining features and understand
- the client's requirements.
- General correspondence to agencies dealing with the concert hall.
- Obtaining quotations from vendors.
- Follow up with clients regarding bookings and closing the date.
- Follow up on the venue confirmation payment.
- Coordination of timings / schedules with clients on events.
- Preparing estimates for the clients based on their requirements.
- Handing over audio/lighting requirements to the respective teams.
- Informing all teams of reporting times on days of the event.
- Coordinating activities with the on-campus schools & scheduling related school activities within the hall.
- Taking care of all production requirements for the show and rehearsal days.
- Ensuring that the respective teams schedule the necessary equipments for the show day.
- Requirements for sound and light are shared with the light and sound team.
- Informing the show and rehearsal schedules for the show and setup days to the
- team and sound and light engineer.
- Coordinate with vendors for LED requirements for the show.
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment coming from outside on show days.
- Follow up with vendors for bills after the event.
- Verify the vendor bills with the estimate and share the final closing for the events
- with the accounts team.
- Follow up with the client and LED team for the dismantling of branding, stalls and LED
- after the show.
- Prepare Monthly and Annual Reports.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- 2-3 years of work experience in the events space.
- Good written and oral communication in English.
- Good oral communication in Tamil and Hindi.
- Ability to work and coordinate with a team of proficient and well-trained crew.
**Additional Information**:
- The job location is in **Chetpet, Chennai.** This is an on-site job.
