- **Using Technology**: Utilizing CRM systems, online booking platforms, and GDS systems (like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo).
Skills and Qualifications:
- **Sales Skills**: Strong sales and negotiation skills, ability to close deals, and understanding of sales techniques.
- **Customer Service Skills**: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), empathy, and the ability to build relationships.
- **Knowledge of Travel Industry**: Understanding of travel regulations, airline rules, and different travel destinations.
- **GDS Experience**: Familiarity with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- **Technology Proficiency**: Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to resolve customer issues and find solutions to problems.
- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to manage multiple bookings, track leads, and prioritize tasks.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex travel options clearly.
- **Passion for Travel**: A genuine interest in travel and a desire to help customers create memorable experiences.
