**Monitoring and Evaluation Officer**

Mumbai Mobile Creches is a non-profit organisation that has supported the health, safety and education of children living on construction sites for the last five decades. It runs comprehensive day care centres on construction sites, serving children who are among the most vulnerable of the urban poor. It has been a pioneer in developing early childhood education programmes and curricula. In Mumbai, it serves over 4500 children through approximately 15 to 25 centres every year.

Mumbai Mobile Creches is seeking a qualified and experienced individual for the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (M & E Officer) for obtaining accurate programme data regularly and generate periodic reports of relevance to the programme. The M & E Officer will be responsible for the following:
1. Identifying indicators and developing various M&E tools at different levels of the programmes, define M&E roles and responsibilities at various staff levels and systemize M&E processes

2. Strengthening qualitative and quantitative M & E indicators and reporting formats to clearly demonstrate organization’s work

3. Developing and implementing organisations communication, documentation and information strategies

4. Developing content for newsletters, annual report, and any other publications including but not limited to public awareness materials such as, brochures, posters, online blogs etc.

5. Ensuring periodic tracking of the indicators and analysis of the data to review and demonstrate quality and extent of the field programmes and regularly generate periodic reports of relevance to the programme.

6. Supporting in the digitization of all MMC programmes and equip the staff in IT processes linked with M & E.

7. Assisting all other departments with specific data requests

8. Supporting in the development of grant proposals to ensure that effective M&E indicators are defined at the time of proposal development

9. Identifying possible research themes based on the analysis of regular programme data

**Qualification**
- A Bachelors’/Master’s degree in Statistics or Economics or Social Science.
- At least 2 to 3 years, experience in the field of Monitoring and Evaluation.
- Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well with people from
- diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Fluency in English, Hindi and Marathi are required.
- Excellent computer knowledge with command on Microsoft Excel among other packages of MS office and statistical software.
- Proficient in monitoring and evaluation techniques and processes.
- Proficient in data collection and management.
- Strong analytical and research skills

The Mumbai Mobile Creches office is in South Mumbai. Working hours are 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month is a holiday.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
