The F&B Captain is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage service within a designated area or outlet. This role involves leading and supervising the service staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of efficiency and cleanliness, and maximizing guest satisfaction. The F&B Captain acts as a key point of contact for both guests and service staff, ensuring smooth and seamless service delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervising and Leading the Service Team**:

- Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of the service staff (e.g., servers, buspersons, runners).
- Assign duties, responsibilities, and workstations to team members.
- Provide guidance, support, and on-the-job training to new and existing staff.
- Motivate and encourage the team to achieve service excellence.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings on menu items, specials, and service procedures.
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage breaks effectively.
- **Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service**:

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items and beverages.
- Serve food and beverages according to established service standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service (e.g., refilling drinks, clearing finished plates).
- Handle guest billing accurately and efficiently.
- Bid farewell to guests and thank them for their patronage.
- **Operational Efficiency and Coordination**:

- Ensure tables are set up correctly and the dining area is clean, organized, and presentable.
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation and delivery.
- Relay guest orders and any special requests to the kitchen and bar.
- Monitor the flow of service and ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Assist in managing reservations and table assignments to optimize seating capacity.
- Maintain knowledge of inventory levels and report any shortages to the supervisor.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food and beverage items.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and ensure the team does the same.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,500.00 per month
