**Position description**:
Procurement for our DG Plants situated at Kalsar & Phaltan inline with the business requirements by bringing standardisation in purchase processes, developing flexible planning & control procedures and maintaining TAT of all processes.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Procurement of All A, B & C Class Raw Material.
- Product & local Vendor development thru assessment of Cost, Quality, Technology, market share of potential vendors
- To evaluate Technical specification and prepare RFQ/RA
- Zero Based/Shadow costing to arrive at tentative cost of commodity considering raw material input, manufacturing cost, etc.
- Helping develop policy/process/SOP and procurement for smooth functioning of supply chain in line with Business needs.
- Developing supply chain processes and system to ensure transparency and compliance in alignment with corporate standards.
- Developing and evaluating new and existing suppliers to ensure a robust supply base.
- Responsible for payments and servicing for supplied product.
- Achieve cost targets through negotiation with suppliers.
- Responsible for communication with Stakeholders for smooth functioning of SCM process.
- Coordination with PPC for MRP and Clubbing of PRs.
- Maintaining the core values of the company within self and team members.

**Educational qualifications preferred**
- **Category**: Bachelor's Degree, Diploma
- **Field specialization**: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Management
- **Degree**: Bachelor of Technology - BTech

**Required work experience**
- **Years of experience**: 5 to 10

**Required Skills**:
5-7 years of Purchase experience (B.Tech)

7-10 years of Purchase experience (Diploma)

Should have all-around knowledge of Plant related Purchases like Raw material, maintenance items and RC Item.

Vendor relationship management.

Sense of ownership and pride in his performance for the company’s success.

Expertise in team building.
