We are looking for a passionate **Chef de Partie (CDP)** to be part of our culinary team. You’ll play a crucial role in creating and presenting dishes that embody the essence of the region while elevating the guest’s experience through innovative and sustainable cuisine.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Prepare and Cook**: Preparation and presentation of a wide range of dishes, focusing on both local Coorg delicacies and global cuisine, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
- **Menu Development**: Collaborate with the culinary team to design menus that reflect the region’s rich heritage, with an emphasis on farm-to-table and sustainability.
- **Maintain Standards**: Ensure that all dishes meet high standards of taste, quality, and presentation, aligning with the ethos of CGH Earth’s commitment to sustainable and authentic experiences.
- **Hygiene & Safety**: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- **Training & Mentoring**: Mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a culture of learning, teamwork, and excellence.
- **Guest Interaction**: Engage with guests by presenting special dishes, explaining ingredients, and offering a personalized dining experience.
- **Innovation**: Constantly innovate to keep up with food trends, ensuring that Wild Walk’s culinary offerings remain unique and enticing.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Proven experience as a **Chef de Partie** or in a similar role in boutique hotels or resorts.
- Strong knowledge of Indian, Continental, and Regional cuisine, with a passion for sourcing and utilizing local ingredients.
- Ability to create dishes that connect with nature and the local community.
- A culinary diploma or certification from a recognized institution.
- High standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for sustainability and a creative approach to food presentation.
