We have an exciting opening for an Associate Content Editor position within our IC CCR (Index Chemicus/Current Chemical Reactions) team located in Chennai. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of the Web of Science Core Collection. Our team, led by Team Manager Sampath Rangan, consists of 13 dedicated members.
- If you possess a master's degree in chemistry or a related field, we would love to hear from you. Joining our team will provide you with the chance to utilize your skills and expertise in chemistry.
- About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Graduate or master’s in chemistry or related field.
- 0-3 years’ experience of content analysis in a science-related field.
- Good scientific research and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- General computer proficiency (MS Office) and ability to quickly learn new software tools.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- What will you be doing in this role?
- Draw chemical compounds and reactions from research articles and patents in line with editorial policies.
- Achieve and maintain consistent quality standards.
- Adheres to editorial publishing schedules and quality standards.
- Maintains and develops scientific knowledge and skills training as required to complete work and stay current on scientific trends and developments related to the employee’s editorial responsibilities.
- About the Team
- We are seeking a motivated analyst to joint our talented Index Chemicus/Current chemical reactions team. IC and CCR are chemistry editions available via Web of Science Core Collection that cover only novel compounds and reactions discussed in 190 key chemistry journals.
- Hours of Work
- 9AM to 6PM (including 1 hr break; in IST).
