The Salesforce Security UI/UX team builds enterprise grade intuitive security tools that help orchestrate various security operations and workflows in an easy-to-use platform.

We’re looking for a UX designer (level based on experience) who’s excited to bring unique contributions to our digital experiences. As a member of the curious, intensely collaborative, and highly motivated team, you’ll work with multiple cross-disciplinary teams to bring your ideas to life. Get involved at every level of the product development process, from gathering customer and user insights to future-visioning, prototyping, and implementation and testing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with product owners, engineers, and leadership team to create a vision for the product area
- Collaborate with other Salesforce product owners and designers to ensure consistency amongst our products
- Using documentation, reviews, and presentations to communicate clear and compelling ideas to a wide range of key partners
- Serve as a bridge connecting design, product and engineering teams
- Create designs that adhere to and extend the existing Salesforce style guide
- Generate detailed final design specs that inspire accurate developer builds
- Work with developers and quality experts to deliver a polished final product
- Promote and educate others on new interface guidelines and design patterns
- Set the vision for a product’s creative identity, articulate it clearly and convincingly, and guide the team through its implementation
- Creates inclusive designs for all users. Advocates for accessibility, encouraging product and engineering management to prioritize accessible features and bug fixes

Skills Required:

- Expert knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch and Invision
- Knowledge of mobile and responsive web standard processes
- Able to successfully manage all aspects of a project from start to finish
- Ability to work independently and take initiative and ownership of features
- Must be self-motivated, a good communicator, comfortableand able to balance great design with meeting deadlines
- Able to produce results independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Expert understanding of user-centered design methods and standard processes
- Ability to communicate your ideas to a wide variety of key customers
- Ability to lead and manage large design initiatives
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role
