**Job Title: Placement Officer**

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Placement Officer to join our team and assist students in securing placements with relevant companies. As a Placement Officer, you will play a vital role in connecting students with potential employers, organizing job placement opportunities, and facilitating successful job placements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with a network of IT companies to bring employment opportunities for students.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of student profiles, company contacts, and job placements, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Collaborate with faculty, alumni, and industry professionals to enhance placement opportunities for students.
- Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of placement activities and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with academic departments to understand the skills and requirements of students, ensuring alignment with industry needs.
- Provide guidance and support to students in navigating the job market, including internships, co-op programs, and full-time job opportunities.
- Conduct individual and group career counseling sessions to guide students in making informed career choices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in industries, technological advancements, and employer expectations to provide relevant guidance to students.
- Negotiate agreements and contracts with placement partners and colleges
- Occasional other additional work also may come up, so one should be ready for it.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Career Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English is must
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with career services software and job search platforms.
- Previous experience in career counseling, recruitment, IT field or related roles is preferred.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills to engage with companies and establish partnerships.
- Familiarity with job search strategies, resume writing, and interview techniques.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
