Our constant efforts and dedication have been crowned with the NAAC A+ grade accreditation for IIST and NAAC A grade accreditation for IIP and IIMR respectively.We are looking for suitable candidates from Academia or Industry for the position of Director / Head / Senior Officer in the training and placement departmentRole OverviewThis role requires strategic planning, corporate collaboration, leadership abilities, and proactive management to position the institution as a top choice for leading recruitersExperience and Qualifications10–15 years of proven experience in Placements, Training, Recruitment, or related fields.Experience in leading placement activities for educational institutions or corporate campuses ispreferred.A First Class Professional Master Degree (throughout an excellent track record)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsSkill SetsStrong corporate network and ability to convert opportunities into tangible results.Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.Strategic mindset with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.Proficiency in placement management software and digital platforms.Key Responsibilities:Taking full accountability for achieving 100% placements and internships for eligible studentsDesign and execute a comprehensive placement strategy to achieve organizational objectives and secure opportunities with leading companies offering competitive salariesCoordinate with various industries to organize on-campus and off-campus interviews formeritorious students, facilitating suitable job placements within their organizationsIdentify, establish connections with, and secure the participation of top companies in campus placement drivesFoster and maintain long-term relationships with recruiters to strengthen placement partnershipsVisiting Industry and build up industry interface for various training programsNegotiate to ensure high-quality job profiles and remuneration for studentsCollaborate with academic and training teams to align employability training with market trendsMonitor and improve the overall employability quotient of students through workshops, career fairs, and mock interview sessionsReviewing the performance of students working in the Corporate Sector in various capacities (Final Placement, Summer Training, Internship, Projects etc.)Presenting Placement reports after Placement Drive/Job FairsDeveloping Management Information System (MIS) on placement of passed out students and to create database of recruiting industries and organizationsAssisting students to develop and implement successful job search strategies and exploring future career optionsWorking with faculty members, department heads and administration to integrate career planning with academic curriculumAct as an interface among students, alumni and the employment communityConducting the student assessments on a regular basisPlan, organize, and manage job events, corporate meetings, and HR summits to enhance placement activitiesFacilitate participation in external recruitment fairs and ranking events to strengthen institutional visibilityCoordinate with industry leaders for guest lectures, panel discussions, and mentorship programsContribute actively to improving the institution's ranking by ensuring placement data compliance for accreditation and surveysAny other duties assigned by honorable Group AdvisorContact: Email:
