**Experience and Skills**:

- Minimum 8-10 years of work experience at senior managerial level engaged in financial

management specific to the NGO sector.
- Proven ability in ensuring compliance with statutory, FCRA, MCA, CSR and Trust

requirements.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English and working knowledge of Hindi.
- Proven skills in forecasting and utilization, preparation of budgets and cost modelling.
- Sound computer skills, including use of MS Office software especially MS Excel
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience in generating monthly, quarterly status

and reports.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player in a complex, multicultural

environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Management of ongoing budgeting and forecasting processes for entire organization.
Appropriate utilization of incoming funds and deployment to different verticals
Tracking of monthly expenses with requisite reporting, flagging any concerns, timely reporting of funds spent.
Working closely with the Programs team to ensure their understanding and adherence to the budget.
Supporting the accounts team to ensure statutory and audit processes as required by Indian laws.
Ensure compliance with FCRA, Taxation, CSR, MCA and other trust related laws
Manage various audits and due diligence process by Statutory Audit, Donor Audits, FCRA, Audit and any other special audits.

**Financial Ops**: Management of bank accounts, generating payslips for employees suggestions for tax computation of employees, generate 80G tax exemption receipts etc.
Acting as the link between the lawyers, tax consultants, FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulations Act) advisors and other financial advisors.
Working with the fundraising team to track fund transfers and timely submission of regular utilization reports.
Supporting external accountant for monthly payroll payments to employees, consultants, vendors etc
Line management of office support staff (1-2) and oversight of their logístical and administrative activities
Preparation of annual and quarterly financial and operational planning processes for Board meetings
Undertake monthly and quarterly planning and reviews (administrative, fundraising and program related finance).
Travelling with Programs team to conduct financial audits of partner organizations.
