Job Title: Retail Store Assistant

**Job Overview**:
As a Retail Store Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the retail store. You will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining the store's appearance, managing inventory, and supporting the overall functioning of the retail environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Customer Service**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide product information, answer inquiries, and offer assistance in locating merchandise.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS (Point of Sale) system.

2. **Sales Support**:

- Assist customers in making purchase decisions by offering product recommendations and upselling/cross-selling when appropriate.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the store's products, promotions, and pricing.
- Monitor and replenish merchandise on the sales floor to ensure availability and visibility.

3. **Store Maintenance**:

- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the store, including shelves, displays, and fitting rooms.
- Perform routine tasks such as restocking shelves, folding and hanging clothes, and maintaining a tidy and inviting store environment.
- Conduct regular checks for damaged or expired merchandise and report findings to management.

4. **Inventory Management**:

- Assist in receiving and processing shipments, verifying contents against invoices.
- Keep track of inventory levels and assist in conducting periodic stock checks.
- Communicate inventory needs to the management team to ensure adequate stock levels.

5. **Team Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with fellow team members to achieve overall store goals.
- Communicate effectively with other departments, such as the warehouse or management, to address specific needs or concerns.

6. **Adherence to Policies and Procedures**:

- Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to customer service, security, and safety.
- Adhere to opening and closing procedures as outlined by management.

**Qualifications**:

- 10th Standard or equivalent.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move merchandise, and perform tasks that may require bending and reaching.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
