Sales Associate

Location: Cochin International Airport, Kerala

**Job Type**: Full-Time

Job Summary:
As a Sales Associate at our shop located in Cochin International Airport, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our products and enhancing the shopping experience for travelers. We are seeking an enthusiastic and persuasive salesperson who can proactively engage with passengers, educate them about our offerings, and drive sales. Fluency in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and English is essential, with proficiency in other languages being a valuable asset. In addition to sales, the Sales Associate will also have the opportunity to upsell our resort to potential guests.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Product Promotion:

- Actively approach and engage with passengers to introduce them to our products.
- Provide detailed information about the products, including their features and benefits.
- Showcase product samples and encourage passengers to make informed purchase decisions.
- Utilize persuasive selling techniques to close sales.

2. Multilingual Communication:

- Communicate fluently in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and English.
- Utilize additional languages, if known, to cater to a diverse passenger base.

3. Customer Engagement:

- Create a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for passengers.
- Build rapport with customers through friendly and informative interactions.

4. Upselling Resort Services:

- Identify opportunities to promote Parakkat Nature Hotels & Resorts to potential guests.
- Share information about the resort's amenities, location, and unique offerings.
- Encourage passengers to consider a visit to our resort.

5. Inventory Management:

- Assist in maintaining inventory records and monitoring stock levels.
- Report stock shortages or discrepancies to the relevant authorities.

6. Sales Reporting:

- Prepare daily sales reports and submit them to the appropriate department.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in sales, particularly in a retail or airport environment, is advantageous.
- Exceptional sales skills with a persuasive and results-driven approach.
- Fluency in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and English is essential.
- Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Enthusiastic and customer-focused personality.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends.
- Knowledge or interest in the products being sold is beneficial.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
