**About the role**

Bhumi's Skill-Ed is a free skilling programme that equips marginalized youth from Engineering & Science backgrounds, with technological and soft skills necessary to enter the IT sector. Since 2021, thousands of students have joined the IT workforce through this programme.

Key features:

- Delivered by Bhumi volunteers and Corporate employee volunteers
- Primarily offered in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka
- Focuses on both emerging technologies and soft skills

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Identify and build relationships with potential employers to recruit Bhumi's students.
- Organize placement drives, job fairs, and networking events to connect students with employers and industry experts.
- Conduct placement workshops, mock interviews, and employability training with industry professionals to boost job readiness.
- Understand students' career goals and guide them toward suitable job opportunities through mentorship and counseling
- Share regular placement reports with the org leadership and conduct market research to align training with emerging job roles.
