The Business Associate is an Individual Contributor role that provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility. The person provides operational/service leadership and direction to the team. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. May contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required. Generally has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets. Work affects an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. May work on ad hoc projects as requested. **Responsibilities**: - Review data / key metrics for accuracy and create required reporting. Ensures analytics drive appropriate decisions and activities - Oversee Citi related Business Office activities including volume reporting, manual effort reporting, straight through process reporting, maps and measures, desktop analysis, etc. - Make and implement recommendations through the use of data analysis and forecasting methodologies - Manage communication including newsletters, mass employee communication, townhalls, SharePoint / Collaborate updates, success stories, etc. - Prepare presentations and senior management decks to translate data into insights that drive strategies, and communicate clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders - Work closely with internal and external business partners in building, implementing, tracking and improving decision strategies - Integrates key profitability drivers and measures of success to offer recommendations and performs adhoc analytical requests - Complete compliance related activities and reporting - Analyze performance of projects / programs and business initiatives - Provide advice and technical assistance with cost analysis, fiscal allocation, and budget preparation **Qualifications**: - 5-8 years of experience - Advanced analytical and business strategy skills - Effective communication skills - Ability to present to business partners and/or leaders to gain approvals - Project and process management skills - Excellent written and verbal communications skill - Experience with a prior focus in financial services analytics - Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at one time - Self-starter who also has a demonstrated ability to work successfully in team environment and drive **Education**: - Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
