Position Title: Solution Architect - Cloud Application

Organization: Digital

Reports to: Head of Application Development (Web & Mobile)

Designation: Sr Manager

**Position Summary**

**Job Key Responsibilities**
- Present requirement of Product teams to Architecture team and assist in creating new architecture.
- Be a cloud evangelist to help others realize the value of modern cloud capabilities and work as a technical leader alongside business, development and infrastructure teams. Identify and champion new capabilities & technologies for further development and the maturity of cloud. Orchestrate cloud benchmarks & maturity assessments for new business requirements.
- Support, Guide, Coach, mentor and collaborate with peers, development teams and platform teams to ensure the implementation of architecture best practices that supports IndiGo’s Business vision.

**Education and Experience Profile**
- Experience in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform is a must
- Exposure to Adobe Experience Manager would be preferred
- Innovative and experienced, thought Leader in multi-cloud approaches across public clouds, SaaS and private clouds with in-depth knowledge of cloud-native architectures, cloud technology, cloud security and refactoring of legacy architectures.
- Strong understanding of the cloud ecosystem and the key players (such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba) and their strengths and weaknesses.
- A transformational mindset, and proven ability to make pragmatic short-term decisions whilst aligning with a long-term strategic outcome.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decisions with both executive level leaders and software engineers.
- Pace over perfection mindset with ability to promote quality and simplicity, but balance that with urgency and pragmatism; accept with humility the accountability for the short
- and long-term architecture decisions and implications
- Agile mindset with ability to adapt ways of working to continuously provide architectural input; allow the delivery teams to present their work and provide guidance on option-spaces and next steps
- Two-way engagement and collaboration mindset with ability to nurture a network in the organization to actively anticipate and remove impediments for the team; share and learn as an active contributor to the wider architecture community. Ability to proactively reach out to teams within delivery, to hear about and surface their latest hypotheses, innovations, and potential roadblocks
