**The team you'll be part of**

As part of the CNS GBC Mkt Services Solutions Architecture team, you will join a team that is responsible for leading the solution design and implementation for complex projects spanning both the Business Application and Core Networks portfolio. The team is for leading the engagement with the customer in the initial stages of the project including requirement elaboration and finalisation and the overall design for the project. The team also acts as the overall technical management anchor for the integration of the components forming part of the solution spanning across the CN and BA domains.

**What you will learn and contribute to**

As the Solution Architect experienced in implementation of VNF and CNF based capability on Cloud platforms, you will support the wider team as the domain architect/expert for delivery of the Nokia CNS BA and CN products on different cloud platforms including NCS, CBIS, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure etc.

As 5G Packet Core architect in the team, you will help bridge the PaCo deployment requirements of the Nokia products onto the preferred cloud/virtualized platforms of the customer. This will include supporting the dimensioning requirements for the customers cloud, understanding the security requirements of the customer cloud and working with the other Architects and Solutions experts/PLM to ensure our deployment is in adherence with the customer requirements, understanding the complexities involved in implementing on different cloud platforms and supporting the technical assessment of change requests, and also creating the platform infrastructure design for the deployment onto the customer cloud working in conjunction with the product specific architects. In addition, you will be responsible for defining the development pathway for the architecture community to support the shift to broader CNF based architecture and also the market services implementation of the CNS Any cloud product strategy.

As part of our team, you will:

- Drive the design for 5G Packet Core deployments
- Be the anchor architect/expert for the 5G PaCo implementation projects
- Contribute to and support the Architecture, Technical Scope of Work (SOW) and Solution Description for the Customer project.
- Assist internal teams from offer commencement through to final solution delivery and acceptance by the customer.
- Be responsible for establishment of the agreed contractual System Requirements.
- Perform integration and testing of an E2E Architecture and Design that meets the specifications, time to market and product/quality constraints.
- Gather and document service and business requirements and transform them to solution description/design.
- Understand customer network ecosystem and Develop customer specific networks architecture and ensure all the requirement are fulfilled in the solution.
- Develop the full scope of the solution, working across organizations to achieve workable solutions.
- Collaborate with other domain/BG teams to ensure the compatibility and interoperability between domains and subsystem.
- Identify Key Technical Risks and Issues, develop mitigation plans
- Review roadmap alignment with solution to be implemented
- Contribute to strategic decisions within sales and delivery phase.

**Your skills and experience**

You have:

- BS/MS in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
- At least 12 years of demonstrated experience in architecture, design, or deployment.
- Experience with solution architecture and integration of cloud packet core networks in customer environments
- Experience with packet core consulting and customizations for telco customers
- Strong knowledge of cloud packet core products CMM (MME/AMF), CMG (S, P-GW/SMF/UPF), & NRD (NRF/NSSF)
- Strong knowledge of 4G/5G architecture, Cloud Infrastructure, and Cloud Native architecture
- Knowledge of IP peering with service providers, high availability procedures, BGP Anycast
- Proven delivery experience of design and implementation of Packet Core solutions on different cloud platforms
- Experience in implementation of solutions on Container
