Job Purpose:
**Overview**
Manage a range of multimedia projects (audio, video, subtitling, and accessibility) working with internal production departments and teams as well as external resources and suppliers. You will be responsible for ensuring the project is resourced, planned and completed on schedule and your duties will include evaluating, quoting, scheduling, resolving conflicts and queries, paying suppliers, ensuring QA and making deliveries.

You will be expected to keep abreast of the latest automation and AI developments and be able to intelligently and comfortably talk with clients about the best solution for their products.

You will need to successfully manage junior colleagues and production teams to implement solutions for our clients that result in excellent customer satisfaction, repeat projects and efficient and profitable production.

You will be working US hours supporting the NASA RMD team and clients (minimum expectation of East Coast hours 8am EST - 4pm EST)

Job Overview:
**Role/Responsibilities**

Responsible for the entire project life cycle: from client requirements, to defining a budget and timeline to deliver the project successfully to agreed milestones and quality levels
- Receive and cascade information and assets, ensuring suppliers and team members have all the relevant information to perform the work to the required standards
- Liaise with internal client teams to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
- Negotiate with external studios, freelancers and vendors on pricing per project requirement
- Define the methodology and approach to best deliver each project in the most efficient manner with the necessary steps built in to monitor and ensure quality and timeliness
- Understand where automation and AI technology can be implemented to reduce cost and timeline for our clients whilst meeting their quality requirements
- Prepare the project plan, budget and quote for the project
- Communicate the project plan and assign tasks to internal and external resources and manage the schedule according to the project plan
- Ensure projects meet clients’ expectations and comply with internal requirements with respect to quality, budget and delivery timelines
- Monitor project progress and resolve queries and issues in a timely manner
- Act as the central point of contact and communicate effectively the project status and upcoming milestones to all relevant participants
- Communicate and escalate any significant changes, issues and potential risks to Managers in a timely manner
- Track costs and schedule and proactively manage changes
- Create and maintain accurate project documentation, take full responsibility for ensuring administration is completed in a timely manner
- Solution focused, continually assess project status and developments and evolve/adapt production plans to keep the project running smoothly
- Interact with stakeholders on a daily basis and manage the relationship on the projects under your responsibility
- Work flexibly, proactively and reactively with high volume throughputs by managing your workload & time
- Manage and mentor junior colleagues assigned to assist you on accounts, ensuring they are adequately trained for tasks assigned and necessary steps are taken to check and monitor performance.

**Qualifications & Pre-Requisites**

Ideally applicants will be educated to degree standard and/or have a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of multimedia (Audio/video) production or localisation project management.

- Proven experience of working in a project based, client facing role, with multimedia projects covering both audio production and subtitling
- Driven, self-motivated and passionate individual who takes initiative and communicates well
- Sets, delivers and executes his/her work to a very high standard
- Excellent organisation, time management and planning skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise and work well independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - fluent in English
- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Flexible team player, willing to go the extra mile to get the job done
- Must be PC literate and have excellent MS Office skills

**Skills - Desirable**
- Experience in Transcription/Subtitling environment is a plus
- Understanding of Media Accessibility requirements (Audio description and Subtitles for Deaf and hard of hearing)
- Expertise in industry-related CAT-tools software is a plus
