Overview: The right-hand person to the HR manager; Assistant Manager supports the HR Manager in every aspect of running the HR department, from hiring new staff to resolving employee grievances and issues. Assistant HR manager may also be tasked with temporarily managing particular departments of the HR department. This might entail managing hiring initiatives during a staffing shortage or representing the HR manager at meetings with clients and suppliers. Assistant HR manager will need to stay up-to-date on these developments: The need for Diversity and Inclusion and Employee Engagement.
