**Job Title**: Bakery Sales Assistant

Location: Andheri west

**Reports To**: Store Manager / Bakery Supervisor

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities:1. Customer Service**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders.
- Provide product recommendations and explain bakery offerings, including ingredients and flavors.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

**2. Sales & Transactions**
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
- Upsell and promote special offers, new products, and seasonal items to increase sales.
- Handle cash, card payments, and ensure proper billing practices.

**3. Product Display & Maintenance**
- Ensure bakery items are attractively displayed and replenished throughout the day.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the baking team for timely refills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the display cases and counter areas.

**4. Quality Control**
- Check the freshness and quality of baked goods before they are presented to customers.
- Remove and report any products that do not meet quality standards.

**5. Hygiene & Cleanliness**
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain hygiene standards.
- Keep the store clean, including countertops, floors, and seating areas.
- Wash and sanitize equipment and tools as needed.

**6. Team Collaboration**
- Work closely with the baking team and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, including setup and inventory checks.

**Skills & Qualifications:Education & Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a bakery environment is a plus.

**Technical Skills**:

- Basic math skills for handling cash and card payments.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems (preferred).

**Soft Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Dependable and punctual with a proactive attitude.

**Physical Requirements**:
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
