At Enviu, we're looking for an experienced venture builder or social entrepreneur to join our team.

**About Us**

Hi, we are Enviu, a social impact venture-building studio. We are looking for an experienced venture builder, who can join us on our crazy mission to build social impact ventures and drive systemic change. You will do so by using your passion for building circular ventures for the têxtile industry, combined with the conceptual skills of a consultant, your experience as an early-stage start-up leader, and the coaching skills of a manager. **About the job**:
As lead venture builder, you will contribute to Enviu’s Reweave program in India. Reweave is an initiative to close the loop on têxtile waste in which we are developing key interventions to fill gaps in the têxtile value chain in India, Kenya, and Bangladesh. As an example, this has led to the start-up UpTex (one of its kind sorting centre for têxtile waste). What we do at Enviu is not easy; we build ventures to develop sustainable markets and create system change. Our ambition is big, and we do everything it takes to build circular business models in the têxtile value chain.

You will work closely with the venture-building team to jointly develop our start-up projects into fully running enterprises, both by coaching our team of venture builders and by building new ventures yourself with a hands-on work approach.

**About you**:
You’d be perfect for the role if you have:

- A proven track record of at least 10 years of work experience, out of which at least four years as an entrepreneur, co-founder of a start-up, start-up coach or part of a company's management team (CXO).
- Proven experience with Lean Start-up methodology
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree from a reputed institute
- Strong conceptual skills, able to design solutions to problems.
- Capability to read and understand business modelling, financial projections and data analysis
- Successful track record in multi-stakeholder project management.
- A hands-on, can-do approach.
- A positive and resourceful attitude to work with people with all kinds of backgrounds, from small manufacturers, local communities, entrepreneurs to investors or CEOs of multinationals.
- Led teams of 5+ people.
- Excellent coaching and communication skills and being a true empathic people manager.
- A clear passion for sustainable impact and innovation.

**It would be a plus if you have**:

- A relevant network in the têxtile industry and experience in the field of the têxtile value chain.
- Experience and a network of (sustainability minded) investors.
- Strong communication skills to pitch to funders and investors and speak at conferences to promote our work
- Experience in the field of circularity and social impact
- An MBA degree
- The job will be based in Bangalore and will not be remote.
