At Enviu we're looking for a Venture Builder / Social Entrepreneur to join our team.

**About us**:
Hi, we are Enviu, a social impact venture-building studio. We are looking for an experienced venture builder, who can join us on our crazy mission to build social impact ventures and drive systemic change. You will do so by using your passion for building circular ventures for the têxtile industry, combined with the conceptual skills of a consultant, your experience as an early-stage start-up leader, and the coaching skills of a manager. **About the job**:
As a venture builder, you will contribute to Enviu’s Reweave program in India. Reweave is an initiative to close the loop on têxtile waste in which we have developed key interventions to fill gaps in the têxtile value chain in India, Kenya, and Bangladesh. As an example, this has led to the start-up UpTex (one of its kind sorting center for têxtile waste). What we do at Enviu is not easy; we build ventures to develop sustainable markets and create system change. Our ambition is big, and we do everything it takes to build circular business models in the têxtile value chain.

**How your days look like**:

- Deep-dive into problem-solving by doing research, interviewing, requirements gathering, empathy mapping, brainstorming, storyboarding, and building in continuous consumer feedback loops.
- Articulate pain points and opportunities and uncover insights that can be mapped back to business value.
- Map out assumptions and validate your most critical assumptions in validation sprints
- Define metrics for success and quickly prototype and test different business models with the target group based on the lean start-up methodology.
- Define and test the “market-value proposition-product” triangle.
- Set up and structure new companies, including team, operations, financial and legal compliance, and so on.
- Raise funds (both grants and equity): identify funders, financial modelling, prepare pitch deck, investor pitches, grant-writing and due diligence processes.
- Engage and work together with partners, both large and small organizations, commercial and non-commercial.
- Analyse and control revenues, costs, and margins of the venture.
- Plan and budget for your project, as needed.
- Collaborate with the local and international team on strategy, finance, marketing, etc.

**Who you are**:
You’d be perfect for the role if you have:

- A proven track record of 3-6 years, with solid experience in the domain of innovation, business modelling and/or product design
- Substantial experience in start-up processes and methodology (Lean Startup, Design Thinking)
- A Bachelor’s degree from a reputed institute in innovation, product/service design, business and finance or similar areas.
- Experience in executing new product rollout, multi-stakeholder project management, and building a startup.
- The ability to think conceptually and act pragmatically.
- The right attitude to work with people with all kinds of backgrounds, from waste workers to investors or CEOs of multinationals.
- Experience in building partnerships with commercial partners (investors, corporates, NGOs, and governments).
- A clear passion for social entrepreneurship.

**And it would be a plus if you have**:

- Experience in an entrepreneurial environment in the fields of circular business
- a relevant network in the têxtile industry and experience in the field of the têxtile value chain.
- Experience with building financial business cases
