Job Responsibilities:
- Tender Identification and Research:Identify potential tender opportunities through various sources such as government portals, online platforms, and industry networks.
Conduct thorough research to understand the requirements, scope, and evaluation criteria of each tender opportunity.
Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and client needs to develop winning tender strategies.
- Tender Preparation and Submission:Prepare and compile tender documents, including technical and commercial proposals, bid bonds, certificates, and other required documents.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, operations, legal) to gather necessary information and inputs for tender submissions.
Ensure compliance with all tender requirements, including deadlines, formatting guidelines, and submission procedures.
Review and refine tender submissions to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with client requirements.
- Proposal Development:Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop compelling and persuasive proposals that highlight the organization's strengths, capabilities, and unique selling points.
Craft effective value propositions, solution designs, and pricing strategies that differentiate the organization from competitors.
Customize proposals to address client-specific needs and concerns.
- Relationship Management:Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, government agencies, and industry partners.
Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and networking events to understand client expectations and foster positive relationships.
Liaise with clients and address their queries or concerns regarding tender requirements, clarifications, or contract terms.
- Tender Tracking and Reporting:Maintain a comprehensive database of tender opportunities, submissions, and outcomes.
Monitor tender portals and industry sources regularly to identify new tender opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
Provide regular reports and updates on tender activities, including win/loss analysis, success rates, and lessons learned.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in tender management, business development, or sales.
- Strong knowledge of the tendering process, including procurement regulations and contract management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with tender management software or platforms is a plus.
- Strong analytical and research skills to identify and evaluate tender opportunities.
