Associate, Markets Pricing

The Markets Pricing team supports Capital Markets businesses with the development of commercial strategies (initiation, development, launch and management) for new and existing products and services.

The role will support multifaceted and sensitive pricing projects and provides the opportunity to work closely with senior business management and make a direct contribution to the division's commercial success.

The Associate will report to the Manager, Markets Pricing. The role will work closely with Capital Markets' business leadership and product development teams, as well as relevant Capital Markets functions, including Market Operations, Finance, Legal and Regulation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creating and evolving pricing structures in support of business and commercial objectives
- Analysing and assuring the competitiveness of existing pricing structures
- Providing information and analysis on clients' behaviour
- Monitoring the impact of LSEG pricing initiatives on clients and market quality
- Analysing competitors' pricing initiatives
- Driving increased alignment in pricing structures across Capital Markets
- Effectively collaborate with business to provide high quality analysis to our stakeholders.
- Proactively identify, analyse and present commercial opportunities

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
**Required Skills**:

- Communication, Collaboration and Analytical skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint
- Beginner proficiency in Python or R

**Desired Skills**:

- Atleast 1-2 years of professional experience is desirable
- Understanding of financial markets a plus
- Knowledge of business visualisation tool (Eg: PowerBI/Tableau) a plus
- Knowledge of SQL a plus

**Education**:
MBA in Finance with Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
