**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Create rigging systems: The primary responsibility of a rigging artist is to create complex rigging systems for 3D models, including skeletal structures and control systems that allow animators to manipulate the models.
- Collaborate with other artists: A rigging artist works closely with other artists, such as 3D modeling artists, texture artists, and animators, to ensure that the rigging is consistent with the overall look and feel of the production.
- Test and refine rigs: Rigging artists must test and refine rigs to ensure that they work correctly and efficiently and that they allow for the full range of motion required for the production.
- Scripting: In some cases, rigging artists may need to use scripting languages such as Python or Mel to create custom tools or automate rigging processes.
- Problem-solving: Rigging artists must be able to troubleshoot problems that arise during the rigging process, such as issues with joint placement, control systems, or deformation.
- Time management: A rigging artist must be able to work efficiently and manage their time effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Documentation: Rigging artists must document their rigging systems, including joint placements, control systems, and any custom tools or scripts used in the process.
**Required Experience and Qualifications**
- Graduation in relevant field.
- Min 1 Year Experience in rigging
- Sound 3D Knowledge.
- Ability to come up with new ideas.
- Detailed knowledge of 3D software.
