**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Create 3D models: The primary responsibility of a 3D modeling artist is to create accurate and detailed 3D models of characters, props, and environments.
- Collaborate with other artists: A 3D modeling artist works closely with other artists, such as animators, texture artists, and lighting artists, to ensure that the models are consistent with the overall look and feel of the production.
- Interpret design concepts: The 3D modeling artist must be able to interpret design concepts and sketches from the art department and translate them into three-dimensional models that accurately reflect the intended look and feel of the production.
- Rigging and animation: In some cases, a 3D modeling artist may be responsible for rigging the models with skeletons and controls that allow for animation.
- Optimization: A 3D modeling artist must optimize models for use in the animation pipeline, which may involve reducing polygon count, creating efficient UV maps, and creating LOD (level of detail) models.
- Problem-solving: 3D modeling artists must be able to troubleshoot problems that arise during the modeling process, such as issues with topology, UV mapping, or texture stretching.
- Time management: A 3D modeling artist must be able to work efficiently and manage their time effectively to meet project deadlines.
**Required Experience and Qualifications**
- Graduation in relevant field.
- Min 1 Year Experience in 3D modeling.
- Sound 3D Knowledge.
- Ability to come up with new ideas.
- Detailed knowledge of 3D software.
