One of our portfolio companies, **InvestorBase**, is redefining how founders navigate the startup ecosystem, and we’re looking for a passionate and versatile **Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR)** to join their team.

**About InvestorBase**

InvestorBase is a comprehensive platform designed to address the challenges faced by entrepreneurs, from learning startup fundamentals to raising funds. By offering a blend of education, validation, and investor access, InvestorBase empowers founders to succeed in a highly competitive ecosystem.

**Role Overview**

As an **Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR)** at InvestorBase, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s trajectory. This role demands versatility, a strong entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to work across functions. You’ll be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, leading critical projects, and supporting founders in their journey to build and scale impactful startups.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Strategic Development**
- Collaborate with the founding team to define business goals and implement strategies.
- Identify and drive initiatives that align with InvestorBase’s mission to empower founders.
- Analyze market trends to shape product and platform development.

**2. Operational Leadership**
- Oversee key projects, ensuring execution and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Manage cross-functional workflows across product, marketing, and partnerships.
- Develop scalable processes to enhance operational efficiency.

**3. Founder Support**
- Mentor early-stage founders, guiding them on idea validation, pitch preparation, and fundraising.
- Design resources and frameworks for founders to refine their business strategies.
- Facilitate connections between startups, investors, and mentors within the ecosystem.

**4. Product Innovation**
- Work with product teams to enhance platform features based on user feedback.
- Develop tools and resources to improve the due diligence and insights platform for VCs and startups.
- Innovate solutions that address founders’ pain points and enhance their experience.

**5. Ecosystem Building**
- Represent InvestorBase at startup events, demo days, and networking forums.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem enablers.
- Champion InvestorBase’s vision to position it as a leading platform in the startup ecosystem.

**Qualifications and Skills**

**Must-Have**:

- Proven experience in startups, either as a founder, operator, or in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of the startup ecosystem, fundraising, and venture-building processes.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Preferred**:

- Experience with accelerators, incubators, or VC-backed startups.
- Familiarity with due diligence processes and investor relations.
- A background in building or scaling technology-driven platforms is a plus.
