The Executive Sous Chef is responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in overseeing the culinary operations of the kitchen. This role involves managing kitchen staff, ensuring quality and consistency in food preparation, and contributing to menu development.

**Responsibilities**:
**Kitchen Management**: Assist in supervising daily kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and sanitation. Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.

**Menu Development**: Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create and develop new menu items, considering seasonal availability, cost-effectiveness, and customer preferences.

**Staff Supervision**: Oversee kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and other team members. Train new employees and ensure proper execution of recipes and techniques.

**Inventory and Ordering**: Monitor kitchen inventory levels, place orders for ingredients, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain freshness.

**Quality Control**: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste. Conduct regular inspections and tasting sessions to uphold these standards.

**Kitchen Operations**: Coordinate kitchen operations during service, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery of meals. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during service.

**Budgeting and Cost Control**: Assist in managing kitchen expenses, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability without compromising quality.

**Compliance**: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation guidelines, and licensing requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification from a culinary school is preferred.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills to supervise and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Understanding of food cost control, menu planning, and inventory management.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

**Additional Skills** (depending on the establishment):

- Knowledge of specific cuisines or specialized cooking techniques.
- Experience with menu engineering or designing tasting menus.
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and ability to create dishes accommodating various dietary needs.

**Salary**: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
