**Position Purpose**:
AM joining the team should be valuable in facilitating both process and people management and also concentrating on the risk and control checks are in place for all the process that are performed.
**Responsibilities**
**Direct Responsibilities**:
- Should ensure that the set SLA’s are met within the agreed timelines.
- Should ensure that Cross Training and Knowledge transfer between the team and processes is happening on a periodical basis.
- Perform a Supervisory check for all critical activities as identified in the process
- Handle escalations/ critical tasks/ new process by providing effective resolution
- Should ensure that Team meeting /Brain Storming Sessions are conducted if required and also share the best practices and ideas with the peer groups and team members
- Plan and chart out the IDP for the team members for attaining the desired objective in alignment with team goal
- Should perform a review of the checklist to ensure all the tasks have been performed
- Able to clearly understand and envisage the Swift messages (MT103,MT202,MT210,MT304,MT300,MT299,MT199 etc)
- Should pitch into the process as and when required and incase of absenteeism
- Plan and effectively manage leave schedules for the team
- Plan and effectively manage the staffing and backup plans
- To interact with the clients / internal teams for any new Business requirements, changes in the business that could impact the process
**Technical & Behavioral Competencies**:
- Thorough understanding of all Capital market, Financial Instruments, Investment baking processes and above average accounting skills
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, solid organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizes multiple tasks and meets strict deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and strong MS Excel skills required.
- Good knowledge in Financial/Securities markets.
- Good knowledge on FX related activities
- Good knowledge and hands on experience about Swift messages such as MT103, MT202, MT210, MT304, MT300
- Good communication skills
- Overall awareness of using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Should possess good people management and team handling skills
- Prior industry experience of about 6 to 10 years is preferred.
