**JOB DESCRIPTION PURCHASE EXECUTIVE BIKER’S CAFÉ**

JOB TITLE : PURCHASE EXECUTIVE

RESPONSIBLE TO : Finance manager

JOB DESCRIPTION : To assist in organizing developing and administrating the purchase procedures and policies laid by the Management to follow and effectively tally out the purchase of all merchandise.

To assist the Purchasing Manger in rendering an efficient and competitive, procurement according to the café practice and the authorities delegated to him.

RECURRING AND SAY TO DAY: a. Responsible to translate assistance and

RESPONSIBILITY Functions of the Purchasing Department and follow up for pending orders.

Should ensure that all merchandise required by the café are being Procured according to the schedule.

Responsible to handle purchasing functions in the absence of purchase Manager.

Should maintain a data library of catalogues, price lists, references etc.

Should order all items as per the Purchase Requisitions received after the approval of finance manager

Should co-ordinate with various stores in receiving their purchase requisitions for action and follow up.

On a daily basis, should maintain and update all files and correspondence. Any records required should be maintained and information about new suppliers and items should referred to finance manager.

h. Should follow up orders and expedite deliveries.

Should develop liaison with suppliers for consistency even during general shortage should follow up on a daily basis on all pending Purchase orders which have not been delivered and inform the finance manager and Department Heads concerned about the delay and reasons.

i. Should check on any outstanding purchase Order and inform finance manager of any irregularities.

j. Should order for any risk purchase which arises due to short supplies.

k. Should assist Purchase Manager when tenders are being called prior to finalization of annual contracts with suppliers.

l. Should also procure samples for various items to assist in sampling and selection.

**Salary**: ₹10,445.70 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Rotational shift
- Weekend availability
