**For Tool Room Supervisor ( Diploma Tool & Die Maker )**

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of injection molds to ensure optimal performance, mínimal downtime, and product quality. This role plays a critical part in maintaining efficient production operations in a manufacturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine preventive maintenance on as per the maintenance schedule.
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble molds ensuring they are production-ready.
- Troubleshoot and repair mold issues such as flash, short shots, burn marks, or damage to cavities/cores.
- Maintain mold documentation including maintenance logs, repair records, and tooling history.
- Operate tool room equipment such as surface grinders, lathes, and mills to fabricate or repair components.
- Ensure molds are stored properly and safely.
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to resolve tooling issues quickly.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education: High school diploma or technical certificate in Tool & Die, Mold Making, or related field.**
- **Experience**: 2-5 years of experience in Tools.
- **Technical Skills**: Strong knowledge of design, tool steels, and polishing techniques.
- **Soft Skills**: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and team management skills.
