**Job description**

**Manufacturing Team Leader Role purpose**:
The Job description of a manufacturing engineering team leader at the shop floor involving & overseeing production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality control, with troubleshooting capability to optimize manufacturing operations.

**Manufacturing Team Leader Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Designing and implementing efficient manufacturing process flow sheet.
- Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures to enhance product quality
- Collaborating functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues to increase through put
- Analysing production data to identify areas for improvements
- Daily small improvements

**Other responsibilities of the Manufacturing Tool Room Leader**:

- Promote and maintain a safe, clean working environment.
- Manage and monitor the new processes to ensure efficiency and success
- Ensure a high standard of work quality culture
- Provide feedback to the Plant Head on issues and concerns arising, along with potential solutions.
- Drive the team to achieve 99% ‘Right First Time’ manufacture of components as well as 95%+ ‘On Time in Full’ delivery of parts.

**Background and experience of the Manufacturing Tool Room Leader**:

- Able to read and understand technical drawings & tolerances
- Good working knowledge of CNC/vmc machines, tools and fixturing technologies.
- Experience of machining Graphite materials (desirable)
- A flexible and proactive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Ability to use standard measuring equipment
- Can manage a team on shifts and ensure customer satisfaction is the priority.
- Quality Awareness
- Provide Training to New Joiners
- Continuous Improvement focused

**Requirements and qualifications**
- B.E / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of machine tools and machining processes
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in VMC/CNC department - Operating and CAM programming for CNC Lathe & VMC
- Basic Knowledge of PM/Maintenance of CNC/VMC

**Job Types: Full-time, Permanent**
