The People’s team at Cogoport is rapidly expanding to support the company’s exponential growth. We are currently growing by adding 40-50 new people every month. This role offers exposure to an exciting, fast paced environment where you would have a direct impact on Company’s growth. You will have a direct impact in the creation of best practices and building the foundation for an effective People’s team.
**About the Role**
The Process Owner - LMS & Trainings is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of course content and other instructional resources used for learning and development. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to system updates and upgrades, as well as supporting tools and software integrated with the Learning Management System (LMS).
In this role you'll work closely with Commercial teams to coach the team members and structure personalized education plans for each member. You'll actively design the training calendar and onboard new hires and guarantee a successful ramp period. You would either directly coach the teams or liaison with internal and external trainers within the organizations to ensure that the training needs are met.
**Responsibilities**
You would have following Roles and Responsibilities:
**Implementation & Upgrading of LMS**: Scope includes the following:
- Requirements gathering to create/update eLearning courses.
- Partnering with Power Users to develop new content.
- Course design and development that follow our standards.
- Works with eLearning vendors to ensure functionality with Microsoft offerings.
- Key member in further deployment of LMS to Cogoport’s businesses.
- Performs quality assurance checks on content, ensures e-learning solutions are compliant and tests content functionality and communication with LMS prior to deployment.
- Create and run reports, manage user permissions and assistance with assignments and local requests.
- Perform LMS administration tasks to ensure integrity of the data.
- Answers and resolves technical issues related to the LMS system.
**Planning and Executing Training Sessions**:
- Develop the Company wide Training calendar to manage the online and classroom training sessions
- Ensure Logistics industry knowledge trainings to the hirees fresh to the industry
- Ensure Cogoport Product and service offerings trainings to the new hirees as well as the existing teams
- Coach, develop, and mentor the commercial teams to drive continuous improvement in Soft skills and product knowledge
- Travel to all our office locations & branches to execute training programs
**Qualifications**
- Educational Background: BS in IT, HR, business or comparable studies.
- Work Experience
- Up-to 4 years’ experience in developing eLearning contents and using LMS platforms or Experience with E-Learning development tools.
- Up-to 3 years of experience in classroom trainings, with a strong command of the English language. Additional language capabilities an advantage.
- Excellent Communication and Training skills to be able to coach the team or be able to gauge the training performance of the external trainers
- Excellent organizational, task and time management skills, with an emphasis on detail and follow up.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines and business objectives.
